Small Habits Big Changes Workshop

Online Community Guidelines

SHBC Workshop has created this Online Community Guideline to outline the expectations we hold for ourselves, and our #SHBCCommunity when engaging in online forums via social media. The guidelines state the purpose of the online community, the integrity & complicity we encourage in online conversations, and ultimately our code of conduct.

Connect. We're here because we want to embrace health and happiness. Build a tribe that can tag along a joyful & successful health journey. Create the most effective support & accountability community that can foster a positive attitude you can nurture from. Treat the group members as such, allies and supporters of your goals.

Respect. We believe your time is valuable, so we will share information and content with the #SHBCCommunity that specifically adds value to you. We will not participate in spam-related activities. We will maintain a zero-tolerance policy for language that is intentionally harassing, obscene, threatening, or defamatory, regardless of its intended target - that's just not what we're about. Please also keep all discussions focused on the workshop and related topics that help build a sense of complicity & community. We ask that you refrain from discussing religious or political beliefs. We reserve the right to remove any posts that violate this policy.

Open, Honest Dialogue. We look forward to sharing lots of great information with you and vice-versa. However, we can't share proprietary and/or confidential information about ourselves or anybody else.

When sharing your experiences or opinions, know that you are -voluntarily- creating a safe space for conversation & support. Any and every piece of advice from any of the members of this group should not be seen as medical or nursing advice and is not meant to take the place of seeing licensed health professionals.

Code of Conduct. We will not post information that is insulting, obscene, profane, or otherwise intentionally harmful or incendiary. We remain committed to this code of conduct and ask that you maintain similar standards when sharing with us.
